Welcome to our wonderful Nursery!

We are delighted to welcome you to Little Acorns, our Nursery here at Thongsley Fields.  We accept children from their 3rd birthday* and offer flexible options across the week including 15 hour places as well as full-time, 30 hour places.  Additional paid sessions are also available subject to spaces being available.

Our day is arranged in two sessions:
  • Mornings (8.40am - 11.40am)
  • Afternoons (12pm - 3pm)

  • Full day places are also available (8.40am - 3pm)

Our Nursery is led by Miss Forster, a qualified, full-time teacher and supported by a wonderful team of Teaching Assistants: Miss Moore, Mrs Steed, Mrs Clayton and Miss Richardson.  Children have access to three large, well equipped rooms and extensive outdoor spaces including our own Forest School area where we spend lots of time!

We believe that starting Nursery should be a happy and exciting time for both your child and for you. We know that you will have lots of questions to ask us and hope the information here will begin to answer at least some of those questions.  We will do our very best to make you and your child feel secure, valued and ready for all the excitement and early learning that Nursery has to offer.

If you have any further questions or would like to have a look around, please contact the school office.
