The Cam Academy Trust
Since September 2018, Thongsley Fields Primary & Nursery School has been a member of The Cam Academy Trust. Set up in 2011 to oversee the conversion of Comberton Village College to academy status, The Cam Academy Trust’s role is now to ensure excellence for all in each of the Trust’s academies. As well as our school, these currently also comprise the South Cambridgeshire village colleges of Comberton (including Sixth Form), Cambourne Village College, Bourn Primary Academy and Melbourn Village College plus St Peter’s School (and Sixth Form) and Hartford Junior and Infant Schools also in Huntingdon. Other primary schools include Offord Primary School near St Neots, Gamlingay Village Primary, Everton Heath Primary in Everton, Bedfordshire and Jeavons Wood Primary School in Cambourne.
