Communication & Support
At Thongsley Fields, we are always trying to update our ways of communicating with parents and carers. This is to ensure, especially in the current situation, that we are able to stay in touch and can continue to promote the welfare and learning of our children.
ClassDojo is a communication tool that we are rolling out for Years 1-6 as a way of bringing teachers, children and parents closer together. It is a way for teachers to update parents on the learning set for their child, as well as allowing both parents and teachers to send messages to each other. These messages will only be seen by the parent involved and the relevant class teachers.
Important things to remember
- Teachers will only usually reply to messages during normal school hours and will endeavour to respond within 24hrs
- Teachers are not expected to use the app or respond to messages during school holidays or weekends
- When schools are open again, you will still need to contact the school office if your child is going to be absent
